“Thanks again for the great times this summer Melissa! When I asked Scarlett what her favourite summer camp was, she thought about it for a minute (because she’s a thoughtful child) and then exclaimed “Honeybee camp!””
Drop your kids off for a day of spring activities, games, crafting and exploration.
Your kids will be invited to open their senses to the season of spring.
By the end of May, the forest is ripe for wild foraging, forest games, and exploration and the gardens are ready for planting.
Wildlife is matting, hatching and brimming with new life. Often bird nests are found with eggs or baby birds, and strings of toad eggs are found before becoming tadpoles. Pollinators are hanging out on wildflowers and on early spring flowers.
So much to see, observe and play with!
With a small group, kids receive lots of personal attention and have more input on how they want to spend their days, plus quiet and outgoing kids thrive.

“Mom, Mom....when do we get to go back to Honeybee Homestead?” This is what my two daughters (ages 9 & 10) said to me upon leaving the fall camp at Honeybee Homestead. Melissa is kind, gentle, patient, creative, Mindful and sensitive to the needs of the children she works with. My children both expressed to me that they felt safe and learned a lot of new things around the Homestead. Melissa takes the time to teach kids at every opportunity she can and every adventure at Honeybee Homestead has been different and unique each time.
